On June 1-4 students and teachers from local middle schools spent half a day as interns in area businesses to experience the importance of academics in the working world.  AT&T Vital Link is based on the theory that students are best motivated to learn if they understand the connection between skills learned in the classroom and those needed for success in the workplace. HMS students worked with the staff at Mobile Infrmary and got a glimpse of what it would be like to work in the medical field.
