Bio

Hello parents,

My name is Mr. Kim Espiritu and I will be teaching 8th grade language arts and journalism this year. Prior to coming to Hankins, I taught at Semmes Middle School for three years. I am highly qualified in middle school language arts and serve as team leader for Team OK. I am very much looking forward to teaching your children and working closely with you. I strongly encourage parent support.

My classes are writing intensive and I expect my students to write everyday, unless otherwise instructed. My classroom is very structured, which allows for optimum learning for the students. If you have questions about your child, please do not hesitate to call me for a conference.

On a personal note, I have two wonderful children, 20 and 12. I am also a former sportswriter for the Mobile Press Register and a huge LSU football fan. I also have coached numerous sports and I am currently the head coach of Hankins Middle School girls basketball coach.
